My original thoughts on this toy when I first looked at it on Amazon was that it was going to be a great one to add to the collection. It’s still a decent toy but it certainly didn’t come close to making my favorite list which was a total let down. It did have redeeming qualities though! Read ahead to find out more of what I thought about the Paloqueth Oral Sex Vibe
The packaging on this toy, like the others, was pretty discreet. It was a MUCH smaller box than the one the single toy came in which was funny because this box had two in there. As you can see, it’s your typical brown Amazon Prime style box. There is literally no way to tell what’s in the box and it’s much appreciated for someone like me who lives with other people. Discretion is key and this company does a great job of that.
The packaging/box the toy actually came in was also nice as well. I love the little design on the front of this one. Inside of it (Which will be pictured below this paragraph) had a foam insert that was carved out for the toy itself and the charging cable for it. It also came with a nice little purple bag for storage. Both provide a way to neatly store the toy so it’s not touching other toys. One thing I like about the Paloqueth toys is that the boxes/packages aren’t simple, they at least have a little bit of flare to them which really, I know that’s not the point of the toy but I like it. Part of having people remember your brand is to make it memorable and I think having nicer packaging helps with that.
As you can see from the photo above, this toy is another one of the ones that recharges from a USB cable. I find these toys to be way, way more convenient than the traditional battery operated ones. Not having batteries is one less expense I have to worry about, I can take it pretty much anywhere and not have to worry about figuring out where to recharge it since I have an iPhone and a wall plug and if I wanted to, I could charge it directly from my laptop. Convenience is key, really. When this toy is charging, it blinks/flashes blue and when it’s fully charged, it stays a solid blue to let you know it it’s fully charged. The charge time on this is 1.5 hours which will give the user about 2.5 hours worth of play time.
Controls:
The controls on this are incredible easy to use and figure out. They’re just the two pictured about at the base of the toy. The bottom button is the off switch/brings the vibration down. The top button (the smaller one) is the on button and kicks the vibration up. To turn the toy on or off, you simply hold the button for three seconds and the toy comes on or shuts off. I think it’s more like five seconds but this one does turn on/off (if you’ve read on of my previous reviews from another company, the mini vibe got stuck on to the point I had to take it apart…. So glad I didn’t have this issue!) These controls also control the vibrations which have three speeds and eight different vibration patterns.
Note: This is not an insertable toy. It’s meant for clitoral stimulation and meant to simulate oral sex. The overall length of this toy from tip to tip is 6.3 inches, the head portion of it is about 3.1 inches in length and 1.8 inches in width. Above is the purple storage bag I mentioned in the beginning of the blog. This toy also comes in two colors – the purple one that’s pictured and pink.
So what were my overall thoughts on this toy? Personally, it wasn’t for me. Again, this truly shocked me. Clitoral stimulation is my thing and this toy just did not come to the table. It did have an excellent amount of vibration speeds and patterns (I particularly like the teasing pulsing pattern) However, it just wasn’t strong enough. I’m not sure if it was the strength of the vibrations or if it was the material of the head. As you can see above, it’s loaded with small ridges/dots with a strip of larger more flexible pieces but it just wasn’t enough to get me to orgasm. It does get bonus points for being water proof and staying true to its advertised ‘whisper quiet’ feature. It was all and all pretty quiet. This is probably a toy I’d use during foreplay mostly because I know it wouldn’t succeed in getting me to orgasm – That said, that’s not always a bad thing. This is definitely one that could be used for edging too if you’re like me and it wasn’t enough to get you to finish.
Cleaning: This one was pretty easy to clean with some mild soap and warm water, but make sure you pay attention that you clean it well enough. Since the whole head is ribbed with small dots, it’s easy for fluids to get caught up in there so keep that in mind. Allow it to air dry before storing it. I don’t see why you’d need lube with it but if for some reason you do, use waterbased lubes. It’s a silicone toy and other lubes will break it down.
Overall, it’s a decent toy for the price – $25.00 USD but it just wasn’t for me.
